My husband and I serve at the “Treasures” ministry for adults with developmental disabilities. Yesterday, we found out that one of our Treasures passed away and is now with the Lord. And another Treasure is in the hospital in critical condition and may not survive. In the past several years, about 8 of our Treasures have graduated to be with the Lord. We dearly miss them. The verse “Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted” (Matthew 5:4) has meant a lot to me lately.
