Week 1 Comments.

This post is here so you can add any additional comments after our first week of reading, during our catch-up time.

If you’re reading with us and haven’t yet commented, and even if you don’t intend to comment and just do the reading, it would be great if you could add one comment saying, “reading with you” to this post. We can then be praying with and for you over the course of the year.

I’ll be using my catch-up time to re-read all the week’s readings in one sitting. Maybe listen to it.

So far, and it has just been one week, doing the plan with you has energized my daily bible reading.

  1. Thanks for setting this up, Jim. I am finding that reading together and having a place to comment has increased my focus. Thinking about what stood out and what I might comment about is making me read with more concentration and interest. The comments from others are sharpening me “as iron sharpens iron.”

  2. Hi everyone! I just read up to Mark 5. I’ll be reading along daily now with you too. Have your way in us Jesus!

  3. Thank you Jim for providing this site for us to share. My husband Mike and I are reading together and it is his first bible study. Prayers are appreciated for him to stay focused on this year long journey.

  4. Thank you for leading us through this reading. I have read through Mark 5 and will continue.

  5. Thank you for organizing this opportunity! Just got caught up through Mark 5. Already so many teachings and healings in these first 5 chapters.

  6. I’m late! I have a free morning and will be catching up on week 2. But I appreciate this platform.
