  2. I am struck by how common and understood demonic activity is so far in Mark. People just lived their everyday lives in the presence of spiritual oppression in the form of demons. They are still around today, and it makes me wonder how they are manifested these days when our culture prefers to give every phenomenon a medical label. It’s not like demons decided to all move to other countries once the Enlightenment happened.

    1. My thinking about this is that our connection and reliance on science and technology blinds us to demonic activity. And the demons are content to let us live blind to their influence.
