It seems like I need James 4:7-8 more and more! I found it helpful to look up the phrase “Submit yourselves to God” in various translations. Here is what I found:
Surrender yourselves, Give yourselves, Place yourselves under God’s authority, Be humble before God, Be subject to God, Let God control you, Obey God, Give yourselves completely to God.
