Acts 3.

Here’s your post to apply your comments to. I’m encouraging you to do so.

Something that caught my eye in this chapter was the word “turning”. From the NIV:

19“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

26 “When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

Peter is letting the people, and us, know that repentance is two turnings: away from our old ways of living and to God. Essential to keep in mind.

  1. Today’s chapter made my heart mourn for God’s family of Jewish people (by physical heritage) who did/do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
We come into the Kingdom through the covenants that God made with His chosen people. He longs to gather them under His wings.
Thank you Lord, that you give us Your desire and the privilege to pray for them (and all who are lost), in your name. Yeshua.

  2. Peter had great opportunity awareness. I’ve started praying for the Lord to bring me people to pray for.
