The letter ends with a worthy set of exhortations for the readers, and for us. This is what I’m taking away today:
20 Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, 21 equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
Hebrews 13:20, 21
So much has changed in the world and in our lives the past few years since Covid hit. A verse that has helped to ground me is Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
